Descrição
The BrainCo Revo 2 Basic Left Dexterous Hand (XRL) is an intelligent bionic robotic hand engineered for humanoid robots, mobile manipulators, and research platforms that require capable, lightweight end-effector hardware. Built on the technology foundation of BrainCo’s prosthetic hand program and the earlier Revo 1, the Revo 2 achieves 11 total degrees of freedom—6 of them motor-actuated—through 6 onboard motors. At 383 g and 160 mm in length, it delivers an extreme load capacity of up to 20 kg and a grip force of at least 50 N while remaining compact and lightweight enough for distal mounting on a humanoid arm without compromising arm dynamics.
The XRL supports rapid secondary development through SDK compatibility with Python and C on Linux, Windows, and ROS, and accepts multiple communication protocols—RS-485, CANfd, and (in Pro/Touch variants) EtherCAT—at up to 1 kHz update rates. Customizable gestures, position-velocity-current feedback control, stall protection, high-temperature protection, anti-collision protection, and OTA firmware updates make the Revo 2 Basic a production-ready platform for research and commercial dexterous manipulation applications. The left-hand (XRL) model is designed for left-wrist mounting and pairs with the XRR right-hand for full bilateral humanoid capability.
